No less than 1,000 persons struggling with different levels of eye problem have obtained glasses in the government bodies of Ijebu North municipality section of Ogun.
This News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reviews that receivers also received free eye treatment. Mr Kunle Ogunlana, caretaker chairman from the LGA, stated around the occasion in Ijebu-Igbo the gesture was a part of activities honoring 100 days at work of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
Ogunlana described that throughout the time, the municipality also embarked on road maintenance, clearing of freeways to avoid flooding and provision of writing materials for pupils.
While congratulating the receivers, the council boss stated more programmes could be carried out to further put smiles around the faces of those.
He advised citizens from the council area to develop suggestions to advance development.
A few of the receivers who spoke, recommended the governor along with the government bodies from the council area for that gesture.
